1.How to use old smartphone as webcam or Security Cameras.
Free Internet Cam (Web of Cam)
Step 1: Download http://www.webofcam.com/download.html and install the app ‘Free Internet Cam (Web of Cam).Right now the app is available only for Android, IOS and Symbian devices to download.
Step 2: If you are using android device then you can use the app with your google account username and password and decide on as what you want the Android device to act.
Step 3:If you want to use device as camera then select Camera and tap the ‘Next’ button.The app will start up the rear camera on the display and wait for a viewer device or client to connect.
Keep the phone’s display on.
Blank out the screen by tapping the button on the bottom.
Put the device on standby mode.
The app will operate in the background and keep streaming the video feed.
Step 4: Search for a proper location to place the camera device with the charger connected to it or else use power banks in order to keep the camera to stream 24×7 and the battery of the phone itself will not last longer for sure, hence use the charger or power banks.
